Mission Statement
Our goal is to provide quality dance instruction through caring, professional instructors in a friendly, family-oriented atmosphere. Tracy's Dance & Tumbling LLC promotes strong self-confidence, self-respect, discipline, and appreciation through the fine arts of dance. We inspire every dancer to find the creativity inside herself/himself as they strive to do their best. Our goal is that each student leaves class feeling proud, confident, and happy!

Our facility has 2 studio rooms, 3 bathrooms, a waiting room for parents, and a kitchen area for staff, students, and parents with a microwave for quick meals on the go and snacks for sale. We also offer extra parking in the back of the building for convenience.
Our Classes:
-Twinkle Tots Ballet & Tumbling, Twinkle Tutus, & Twinkle Toes : These classes offer a perfect introduction to dance. Students will learn to use their imagination while learning different dance forms such as creative movement, ballet, jazz, and tumbling. These energetic classes are offered to boys and girls ages 3-5.
-Tumbling: We will work on strength, flexibility, control, and safety through tricks that are appropriate for each student's skill level.
-Tap: Dancers will learn rhythm, and tap combination in this energetic, upbeat form of dance. Tap is a rewarding technique that students will value throughout life!
-Jazz: Many styles of dance will be taught in this class including hip hop, modern, broadway, and classical. Jazz is a fun, fast paced class that boys and girls alike will enjoy!
-Hip Hop: This popular form of dance has evolved from hip hop culture! This class offers high energy dance along with strength and core training.
-Ballet: Ballet is the foundation of all dance forms. Students will learn French terminology and proper body placement. This class is designed to build self confidence and discipline! I encourage all students to take this class.
-Lyrical: Lyrical dance is a style that combines ballet and jazz dancing techniques. It is performed to music with lyrics so that it inspires expression of strong emotions the choreographer feels from the lyrics of the song.
-Pre-Pointe: You must be in a ballet to take this class. This class is designed to get the dancer ready for pointe shoes.
-Pointe: You must be in a ballet class to take this class. Students will learn French terminology, proper body placement, with a focus on footwork.
-Adult Tap: This is a fun, informal class for beginners as well as seasoned dancers.
Tuition and other fees:
Registration fee $10.00 per student per year.
Tuition is due the first week of classes each month.
Monthly fee is the same regardless of how many classes are held that month. Tuition is paid September thru May.
We accept credit cards, cash or checks payable to Tracy’s Dance & Tumbling. $30 fee for any returned checks.
Tuition is due the first week of classes each month. A $10 late fee will be applied if arrangements haven’t been made by the third week of class.
1 costume for each class. Estimated Costume cost is: $55-$70 for each costume. Combo classes will have 1 costume worn 2 ways.
Each girl student is encouraged to purchase a nude leotard to wear under their dance costume. This acts as an undergarment and also helps with itchiness the costume may cause. The nude leotard can be purchased online, or bought for a dance apparel store. All ballet, tap, jazz, pointe, and lyrical female students will need tan or nude tights. If you also do tumbling you would need the transition tight so you can have bare feet for tumbling. We will place an order for tights and shoes, prior to picture day.
Recital Tickets will go of Sale in May. Ticket cost will be about $10 each.
We will also have flowers for sale during both shows. Show shirts are optional.
Dress Code
Tight and leotard of any color for all dance classes is encouraged for all girls. Fitted t-shirts and leggings or shorts are excepted. Tumblers can have bare legs or transition tights. T-shirt and shorts/pants for boys.
We have ballet, tap, and jazz shoe sizing kits. You may order anytime, but larger orders are shipped free. Please see Tracy for details.
Shoes needed for classes:
Twinkle dance classes - pink ballet shoes , tan tap, bare feet for tumbling
Ballet - pink ballet shoes
Jazz - tan jazz shoe or pink ballet shoe
Tap - tan tap shoe any style
Hip hop - black hip hop sneaker (tennis shoes can be worn in class)
Lyrical - tan turner or half-sole
Boys may wear black ballet or jazz shoes and tan tap shoes.
Shoes must be the color indicated above by our recital in June. Any color shoes for class.
Parent Observation Policy
We encourage parents to wait in their car when possible. You are welcome to bring your student in and get them settled in the drop off rooms or classroom. Parents may come into the classroom if needed. (please see Tracy to make accommodations). Students will exit through the classroom door. All twinkle students will need to be picked up at the door. We hope to schedule parent observation days throughout the year.
Parking:
We encourage parents to park in the back of the building in the spots marked “tenants only” WITHOUT UNIT LETTERS. Please do not park in the spots marked Unit A-D. The parking in the back is well-lit and there is less traffic. We also have some parking spots in front of the building. Please do not park at O’s Pub. The parking spots on the East side of our building is O's parking. For extra parking you may park across the street at Auburn PT. Please see Tracy with any parking issues.
Studio Hours & Transportation From Local Schools:
The Studio is open about 2:30 pm each day for walkers from our area schools. This is a convenience to our students and parents. Our staff is also available to walk to Auburn Elementary to bring students over for the 4:00 & 4:30 classes. If you need this service please make arrangements with Tracy. Please send a snack with your child.
Cancellation Policy:
For cancellation due to weather please check our Facebook page. We will not cancel just because school is canceled. Typically roads are cleaned by the afternoon. We will make the call by 2:00 P.M. We will post cancellations on WNEM TV 5. Snow days will not be rescheduled. If classes are canceled due to staff the classes will be rescheduled for another day.
1. A yearly non-refundable registration fee of $15 is required in order to reserve your child’s place in a class. If you register for one or two sessions the registration fee is still $10 per student. If you register for just Fall then decide to do the Winter/Spring session you will NOT be charged an additional registration fee.
2. Tuition is due the first week of classes each month. You may pay credit/debit card, cash, check payable to Tracy’s Dance & Tumbling. Statements will be emailed out each month via Square for credit card payments. PayPal and Venmo payments will not be excepted. Tuition cost is the same for in-person classes and classes via zoom if necessary. In the event of a mandatory shut down via the government classes will resume via zoom.
3. You may withdraw only during the first month of classes per session. After the first month you may withdraw only in the event of injury or illness. Doctors note is required. You are required to pay for the full session. Fall Session Begins September 13, 2021 and ends December 17, 2021 (4 months tuition). Winter/Spring session begins January 10, 2022 and ends May 27, 2022 (5 month tuition).
4. Costume fees are due January 21, 2022. Costumes cost between $60-$80.
5. $20 recital fee is due by March 4th. This fee help cover dress rehearsal and recital expenses. If a traditional recital isn't an option an alternative recital will be held. Performance ticket will be an additional cost.
Tracy’s Dynamic Dance Team
1. Our Performance team program is designed for dancers who want to make dancing and performing a priority. The students have 60/90 minute weekly rehearsals in which they learn challenging and varied choreography, performance skills, stage etiquette, expression, and performance procedures, all while developing relationships and forming a community with their peers. We strive to conduct this program like a professional company, with required technique classes and rehearsals, diverse and artistic choreography, and performing throughout the The Tri-city area at festivals, nursing homes, parades and other events. The program and process instills commitment, a sense of responsibility, and teamwork that prepares students for life! In addition to the 60-90 minutes rehearsal weekly class team members are encouraged to take at least 2 of our rec classes.
2. A one time registration fee of $45 for team jacket is due in August. Team jacket cost is $45 No additional registration fee if you already have a jacket from the previous year. Tan Jazz shoes are required. The team members will purchase 2 costumes during the season. Costume fees will be in 2 equal installments of $65 due on 10-8-20 & 1-14-21. The class cost is $55/month for a 90 minute class for Middle school and High School Students. $35/month for a 60 minute class for 1st - 5th graders. All fees are non-refundable. The dance team session begins in September and ends in July. The commitment is 9 months of tuition. All competitions (if we choose to compete) are optional and have additional cost. Group dances will be taught during class time. Optional additional dances will be taught during scheduled "extra practice time" ; anything outside of the standard class times a $30/hour private class fee will apply.
