Alanna has been dancing since she was 3 years old, and has participated in tap, ballet, pointe, jazz, and modern. She danced competitively throughout childhood, and then continued competing on a college tap team. Her favorite type of dance is ballet and pointe. She graduated from SVSU with her degree in secondary education, with a major in Spanish and minors in English Language Arts and Teaching English as a Second Language. She then earned a masters degree in Curriculum and Instruction. She currently teaches middle school language arts. Brittany Perry started dancing at age 5 in a jazz class. From there her love and passion for dance grew and she continued dancing through high school. During this time she studied a variety of styles under a variety of teachers. One of her most memorable experiences was being Henry Danton’s student from a young age. She attended various workshops and competitions, competing both regionally and nationally for Lori Fain. Currently, Brittany is pursuing her teaching certifications through Dance Master’s of America. She’s excited to continue to be involved in an art she loves, and help the students develop a love for it as well.
I have 30 years dance (tap, ballet, lyrical, gymnastics, hip hop, cheerleading) experience with 15 years of that teaching at local dance and tumbling studios. When I lived in Gainesville, Florida I volunteered at the community center and taught a few tumbling and hip hops classes. Also, was a certified Zumba instructor for 5 years. Not only do I teach but I am a mother of 2, Olivia and Brantley, and also work full time as Human Resource Manager. I earned my Business Administration Associates degree at Santa Fe college in Gainesville, FL. Now I’m in pursue of my Bachelors of Human Resource Management at Davenport University. My whole life it has always been school and now work in the day and in the evenings at the studio!! My favorite thing about teaching, is watching the progression of the students from day one until the recital!! It’s beautiful what persistence and practice can do in a few months!
I assisted in dance class while in high school then returned to Tracy's Dance & Tumbling to continue to teach after college. I have taught tap, ballet, and jazz. I enjoy teaching so much that I am also a school teacher by day. I teach first grade at St. Brigid Catholic School in Midland, MI. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education with an endorsement in Language Arts. I have always enjoyed teaching, working, and playing with children, as I was a daycare provider, after-school care assistant, and summer camp counselor since my senior year in high school (2010-2011). I love to have fun making up dances with my students, while also teaching them technique. Not only do I love to teach, but I have a special love for my little girl Kallie. She is 2 years old and will begin dancing at Tracy's this year! Mommy is so excited to share a special love for dance with her! I have been married to my husband Jacob for 4 years, but we have been together since high school (12 years this September). I put my all into everything I do, so by the end of the day I am exhausted. But it is all worth it! I love watching my students grow and achieve their dreams whether it be in the classroom, in the studio, or in their personal lives. Every accomplishment they have, I love to share in the celebration with them! I am very excited to begin this year, and watch all my students become beautiful dancers inside and out!

I began theatrical work at the age of 5 and have performed in over 65 performances since. After moving primarily into dance, I was accepted as a company member for both Citadel Dance Senior Company and Berrien County Dancers. Through these two company memberships, I have earned experiences that are specialized in modern (Graham), hip hop, and jazz (Giordano and Fosse).
I have studied with various artists such as Autumn Eckman, Jennifer Archibald, Jon Lehrer, Nan Giordano, Winifred Haun, Homer Bryant and many more.
Most of all, I love spending time with my two children (Lena and Matias). I am looking forward to a great year in the studio!
